His extensive background spans from working in prestigious German specialist shops to collaborating with automotive engineering companies. Beyond the garage, Ward embraces the challenge of running a business while enjoying quality time with his family. When he’s not working, you’ll find him sailing, motorcycling, playing squash, or practicing carpentry.

Billy, our seasoned automotive veteran, brings an impressive 31 years of expertise to Southport Automotive, with two decades dedicated to our team. A graduate of the Porter and Chester Automotive Institute, Billy’s skill set is further enriched by dealership training in Volkswagen, Audi, and Porsche models. At Southport, Billy cherishes the familial atmosphere, specialized tools, and personalized customer interactions. When away from the garage, Billy enjoys casting a line while fishing or tackling rugged trails on his mountain bike. His diverse interests include strumming tunes on the guitar, hitting the gym, catching movies, and passionately rooting for the Yankees.
